HSR ( Health and Safety Representative ) Training Courses
Accredited Work Heath & Safety Representative Training – 5 day course
4 to 6 participants $ 900 pp
7 to 11 participants $ 720 pp
12 to 15 participants $ 570 pp
Accredited Work Heath & Safety Representative Training – 1 day Refresher course
Each participant MUST have previously completed the HSR course and be able to provide proof of course completion
3 to 5 participants $ 340 pp
6 to 10 participants $ 270 pp
11 to 15 participants $ 220 pp

Course Background
OHS Consultation Committee training has been phased out by Safe Work NSW and Health and Safety Representative ( HSR ) training is the training required under the new WHS legislation
Under the NEW Work Health and Safety Act and Regulation 2011, implemented on the 1st January, 2012 there are new requirements
When a worker is elected as an HSR for a work group and requests HSR training then the requirement for training is the 5 day HSR course training
The course is delivered by a Safe Work NSW registered and accredited and RTO authorised and accredited trainer
5 day HSR course training sessions:
- Day 1: Work Health and Safety Framework
- Day 2: Consultation, Representation and Participation
- Day 3: Role of the HSR in Issue Resolution and minimising risks
- Day 4: Inspections, Notifiable Incidents and Incident Investigation
- Day 5: Provisional Improvement Notices (PINs) and ceasing unsafe work
1 day HSR Refresher course training sessions:
- Work Health and Safety (WHS) Legislation
- Consultation, Representation and Participation
- Participating in consultation and Issue Resolution as an HSR
- Monitoring PCBUs management of WHS risks and Notifiable incidents
- Provisional Improvement Notices and ceasing unsafe work
The HSR Refresher course is 8.5 hours in duration with breaks included
The course is delivered by a Safe Work NSW and RTO authorised and accredited trainer
